Winery road rally

The road rally will meet the wine tour in the upcoming "Vigneto Rally," a southern New Jersey winery exotic car road rally, taking place all day Sunday, June 24.

The rally, designed to promote regional tourism and bring attention to the region's growing wine industry, will include exotic sports cars from legendary manufacturers such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Porsche, Maserati and others.

The Vigneto Rally will begin at 8 a.m. at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville (attendees must register) and will travel through Hammonton before making its final stop at Renault Winery in Galloway by 5 p.m. Once at Renault, the rally cars will park in a reserved VIP area for the Vigneto Rally Exotic Car Show. The car show is open to the general public. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

The rally will stop at select wineries for a tasting presentation by winery vintners. A New Jersey Motorsports Park official pace car will lead the rally. The final route will not be announced until the day of the rally and is subject to change.

Rally partners FC Kerbeck Rolls Royce-Bentley-Aston Martin-Maserati-Lamborghini, Porsche of Atlantic City and Mercedes Benz of Atlantic City will be entering and driving exotic cars in the rally.

Wine tastings

Renault Winery Resort & Golf will present the Downbeach Film Festival/Atlantic City Cinefest third annual wine tasting cruise aboard Cruisn' 1 on Friday, June 22. The winery will provide all wines and will have a representative on board to talk about their various products. The two-hour sunset cruise leaves the dock at Historic Gardner's Basin in the Inlet section at 8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served to accompany the various wines. A.C. Summer Concert

Tavares, Con Funk Shun and Kool Moe Dee will headline the next upcoming performance in the Atlantic City Summer Concert Series, taking place Saturday, June 23, on a stage at Historic Gardner's Basin.

Eddie Morgan Rek'd 4 Jazz, The Emperors and Essence Pittman will open the show, which begins at 1 p.m. Headliners begin at 4 p.m. and play until dusk. The concert is free and open to the public.

The City of Atlantic City and Atlantic City Free Public Library sponsor the five-show series, which began June 2, and runs through Aug. 18.
