BUILD A GINGERBREAD HOUSE

Not many holiday decorations are both pleasing to the eye and the taste buds. Bring the kids to Congress Hall in Cape May and make a gingerbread house with Mrs. Claus and her elves. Houses are pre-made and ready for little hands to decorate with gum drops, jelly rings, peppermints and more delicious treats. Cost is $25 per house. Classes are every half hour from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays Dec. 4, 11 and 18, in the Grand Ballroom, 200 Congress Place. Call 609-884-6583 for reservations. Also offering a gingerbread house craft is the Hammonton Library, 451 S. Egg Harbor Road, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. All ages are invited to create a gingerbread house, starting from scratch. For a materials list or to register, call 609-561-2264.
