You’ll have to bide your time before you can indulge in these donuts, as RSK opens their doors for St. Patrick’s Day weekend, but their fresh, hot donuts are worth the wait. We have to give an honorable mention to the famous Frog Hollow Donuts, which doesn’t open its doors until April. Hollow is exactly the word for this tiny bakery — but don’t let the delightfully shabby exterior deter you. The fresh donuts inside are as good as they come. 140 NJ-50, Ocean View. 609-390-7549. Also worth a shout out are Browns (110 Boardwalk, Ocean City; BrownsOCNJ.com), where there’s regularly a line out the door, and Shore Good Donuts (1211 Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom; ShoreGoodDonuts.com), where unique flavors like Mape n Bake and Inside-Out Apple Pie grace the menu.
