”This photo was taken at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Oceanville. The birds pictured are immature White Ibis. The typical range of this wading bird is Florida and the Southeastern United States. I found them in the impoundment at Forsythe a few days ago. When mature, the ibis is almost entirely white, with the exception of its black-tipped wings and reddish pink legs and bill. The bare skin around their blue eyes is also reddish pink.
