FLASHBACK FRIDAY WITH KASHMIR (LED ZEPPELIN TRIBUTE)
GOLDEN NUGGET’S SHOWROOM // 9 P.M. FRIDAY, MARCH 24
WHO ARE THEY: Kashmir is a four-piece Led Zeppelin tribute band formed in 2000 by lead singer Jean Violet. The band began performing at bars and nightclubs and eventually worked its way up to theaters and festivals on the east coast and beyond. In addition to Violet, the lineup consists of guitarist Andy Urban, bassist Paul Cooper and drummer Felix Hanemann.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Been a long time since you rock n’ rolled? Well then head on over to Golden Nugget Atlantic City on Friday to check out Kashmir, a Led Zeppelin tribute that has it all from the look, to the sound, to the instrumentation and stage show. Concertgoers will feel like they’re at a real life Zeppelin concert in the cozy confines of Golden Nugget’s Showroom. Kashmir covers all the hits including “Black Dog,” “Heartbreaker,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “Kashmir” and just about anything else Led Zeppelin recorded during their incredible but sadly short-lived career. Until Robert Plant decides to reunite with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, Kashmir is about as close as any fan is going to get to the real thing.
