WHO ARE THEY: Formed by bandleader Scott Kelly in 2009 as a means of raising money for a local food pantry, The Wizards of Winter are a 12-piece ensemble that features former members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and other top musicians. The group released its self-titled debut album in 2014 and “The Magic of Winter in 2015.”

WHAT TO EXPECT: A holiday-inspired progressive rock band in the vein of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Wizards of Winter bring their theatric, big sound to the Landis Theater on Friday night. Known for their great interaction with audiences, the group puts on a show which is dramatic, inspiring and perfect for the season.
