Mark Papadaniil is on a mission to bring Bojo's Ale House in Millville back to its former glory.

"(Bojo's) used to be the hot spot in town, but it declined in recent years," Papadaniil says. "I'm bringing it back to where it should be."

The Millville native and business owner took over Bojo's in March and has spent the past six months revamping the ale house and adding new offerings such as live entertainment, a rotating craft beer selection and eight mounted flat-screen TVs.

Today, Bojo's Ale House is a great place to watch a game, grab a bite to eat or go for drinks after a show. Bojo's is located in the heart of downtown Millville, in walking distance of the historic Levoy Theatre, which held its soft re-opening this past Sunday and will have its grand re-opening Sept. 22.

Bojo's has live entertainment on Friday nights beginning at about 9 p.m., and on Sundays during Eagles games it has all-you-can-eat-wings for $10, $1.50 Miller Lite pints and $2.50 Miller Lite bottles. Happy hour is 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays with a dollar off any drink.

Since he took over, Papadaniil says he has heard great reviews and has gained a new base of regulars. He is looking forward to expand in the future.

"I'm looking to grow my food menu and bringing in some new seasonal crafts," he says. "This place used to be known as an old folks' hangout, but I'm marketing to appeal to a younger crowd, too."

Upcoming Event:

On Friday, Sept. 21, Bojo's Ale House will be hosting The Jody Joseph Band for a night of classic rock.

The last time Bojo's hosted The Jody Joseph Band, the place was packed, Papadaniil says. He is predicting another great night.

Sept. 21 also is Millville's Third Friday, a monthly evening event held to promote the local arts and entertainment scene with galleries, shops and restaurants staying open until 9 p.m. or later.

Upcoming Entertainment:

Friday, Sept. 14: Perfect Storm, performing a mix of rock, country, blues and more.
