Christi's Bar and Restaurant is a no-frills bar in Egg Harbor Township operating on a simple business model - "to have fun."

"That's our main goal," General Manager Debbie MacDonald says.

Located on the Atlantic International Airport circle in Egg Harbor Township, Christi's attracts both a base of regular locals and travelers passing through the area looking for drinks, live entertainment and a bite to eat.

The bar is open year-round, "serving many of the same friendly faces," MacDonald says.

The bar hosts bands every Friday night starting at around 9 p.m. and karaoke twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 10 p.m. There are pool tables, arcade games and several mounted TVs surrounding the large rectangular bar at the center of the establishment. Booth seating also is available.

The bar features 16 beers on tap, including seasonal craft beers, and happy hour is 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Pub fare is available at the bar every day except Sundays when the kitchen is closed, with daily food specials selected by the chef.

Christi's owners, Mary Mathis, Sharon Tyson, Dan Cohen and Sam Krantz, also own Caroline's By the Bay in Somers Point.

"They opened Caroline's first and everything was going so well they decided to open a second bar," MacDonald says. "(Christi's is) a wonderful place to come hang out with your friends and just let loose."
