The Dubliner Irish Pub and Grill in Galloway has done some growing up over the past few years, transitioning from a mostly college bar packed with Stockton students to a place that serves multiple demographics, including young families and older adults.
Manager Al Grosso says the bar and restaurant wanted to expand its scope, while still serving its loyal Stockton students, but in a less rowdy way — such as no longer having beer pong games in the middle of the dining area.
Today, you can find a specialty martini menu featuring $5 specials on Tuesdays and authentic Irish beers such as Guinness, Smithwick’s and Harp Lager.
Speaking of Irish…
Dubliner will celebrate its Celtic roots this weekend, starting with after-party following the annual Atlantic City’s St. Patrick Days Parade Saturday with music by the Irish band Tom Brett and Friends from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by karaoke.
On St. Patrick’s Day Monday, the Dubliner will host an all day bash, serve up a free Irish breakfast starting at 7 p.m. and continuing with live music throughout the day, including Baloney Brothers from 2 to 6 p.m. and Murphy’s Law from 7 to 10 p.m. The radio station SOJO 104.9-FM will be broadcasting live from the restaurant from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday.
Weekly events and specials:
