1. It's on the level of Vegas, at sea level. Based on the incredible first year of HQ Nightclub, you had to expect Angel Management Group would do something equally magnificent with its Boardwalk-side beach club, especially since they also operate one of Las Vegas' wildest pool parties: Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand. Therefore, it almost goes without saying that HQ Beach Club is like nothing Atlantic City has seen thus far - an opulent, outrageous oasis that takes the resort's daylife scene to new heights.

2. You'll see some exquisite curves. The design of the club alone is something to behold. The entire space is nestled between the side of the casino and the Boardwalk. Guests walk in from the Boardwalk, through daybeds surrounded by sand, and descend down to the triangular pool where there are more booths and walkways leading to the main dance floor in front of the DJ booth. On the far side from the entrance are six lavish bungalows overlooking the pool, outfitted with beds, couches, HD TVs and even their own plunge pools.

3. It gives new meaning to solar energy. There are plenty of so-called pool parties that are really just places to relax, cool off and be seen. HQ Beach Club, however, is a pool party, in the truest sense of the term, where people are dancing, splashing and sometimes raging in front of the high-profile electronic dance music DJs that perform there. The autographs on the surfboard behind the DJ decks, including those of Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade, Chuckie and many more, are evidence this is already a premier stopover for the best EDM talent the world has to offer.

4. Expect service with a surfboard. The many aforementioned bottle service areas offer not only a luxurious place to lounge but also a long menu of food and drink choices. Mandatory check minimums change each weekend, but average about $3,000 to reserve a cabana and $5,000 to reserve a private bungalow. You can order a number of things to reach those totals, from pitchers of mojitos and party platters to cigarettes and sunscreen, but if you choose a particularly pricey bottle, such as a $5,000 3-liter bottle of Dom Perignon, the glory of getting it delivered by a bikini-clad server carried on a longboard comes free.

5. Maximize the sun and your sips. At a nightclub, showing up early might seem lame, but here it's best to get there around noon or earlier, because in the late afternoon the casino starts to hide the sun. If you're not getting bottle service, it's easiest to get drinks at the second bar in the far corner, raised behind the DJ booth, where not as many people venture. And if you're going in the pool, you might want to finish your drink first, because it's liable to either get hit by a stray beach ball or filled with water when everyone starts splashing as the beat drops.
