Vagabond Kitchen and Tap House

It took just one year for Vagabond Kitchen and Taphouse to make its mark as a hot spot for locals and shorebirds looking for a good meal and great live music.

The restaurant, located off the downbeach exit just off of North Albany Avenue, is just a stone’s throw from Atlantic City casinos and right across from Bader Field. Vagabond will celebrate its one-year anniversary Saturday, March 22, with featuring live music by DJ Hype.

Vagabond quickly made a name for itself as a craft beer destination within the downbeach and Atlantic City area, serving an extensive rotation of casks, cans, bottles and beers on tap, including house favorites such as Flying Dog Brewery and Smuttynose Brewing Company.

Vagabond also hosts happy hour 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays featuring great food and drink specials including half-price appetizers, $5 you-call-it Skyy vodka drinks, $5 wines and featured beer discounts.

The bar and restaurant has a live DJ every Saturday and Bar Buster Trivia with prizes on Tuesdays starting at 8 p.m. The bar also hosts occasional tap takeovers by popular breweries such as Cape May Brewery, Troegs Brewing Company and Oskar Blues Brewery, as well as beer pairing dinners.

Upcoming event:

Join Vagabond beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, March 28, for music by the band Unusual Suspects and a celebration of owner Tom Harris’ birthday.
