LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Authorities arrested three Camden County residents and seized cocaine, marijuana and pot brownies in a monthlong investigation in southern Ocean County.

Brandon Marino, Patrick Farrell and Leighann Brown, all of Berlin, were charged on drug counts earlier this month, authorities said.

County Prosecutor’s Office detectives and police from Stafford and Little Egg Harbor townships were watching a home on Hannah Place in Little Egg Harbor when they saw what they said was a drug deal between Marino and a driver in a Ford Mustang that pulled up to the home April 6.

When the car left, police pulled over the driver, Farrell, on Route 9. Detectives seized about $2,700 in cash after Farrell consented to a search of the car, authorities said.

As Marino left the home and drove away, police pulled him over. He was taken back to the home, where police said they found cocaine, marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia.

During the investigation, police seized more marijuana, THC wax, brownies, cash and drug paraphernalia in Farrell’s home in Berlin, police said.

Marino, Farrell and Leighann Brown were arrested, all charged with possession of more than 1 ounce of marijuana and released pending a court date, according to police.

Marino, 22, was charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, less than a half-ounce of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Farrell, 21, was charged with possession and intent to distribute more than 50 grams of marijuana and distribution of marijuana.

Brown, 19, was charged with conspiracy to possess drugs with intent to distribute.
