The Philadelphia Eagles are planning on including a number of fan-oriented activities during their five public practices at Lincoln Financial Field during training camp.

"Our goal is to have a fun atmosphere for fans as they get an up-close look at the team," Eagles president Don Smolenski said Thursday in a statement.

New Eagles coach Chip Kelly will be guiding the players through practices at the Linc on July 28, Aug. 5, Aug. 11 and Aug. 17 at 12:30 p.m.. Free tickets to the workouts will be available starting Tuesday at 2 p.m. through the team's web site and Ticketmaster.

There is an eight-ticket limit per practice. Seating will be general admission by section. Parking will also be free with lots opening at 9:30 a.m. each day. Concessions will be open, but no alcoholic beverages will be sold.

Every fan entering the stadium will receive a scratch-off ticket. Those who hold "winning" tickets will be eligible to obtain player autographs after each practice on the SCA and West Club levels.

Music, face-painting artists and appearances by the team's mascot and cheerleaders will be at the HeadHouse Plaza each day starting at 10:30 a.m. After every practice, fans 14-and-under will have the opportunity to catch a pass on the field from a former player.

Each workout will also include a special event. July 28 will be Alumni Day, when former players will be recognized on the field and some will also sign autographs at the HeadHouse Plaza.

The Eagles will continue their training camp tradition of honoring members of all four branches of the military during Military Day on Aug. 5.

On Aug. 11, the first 10,000 fans ages 12-and-under will receive a LeSean McCoy mini-bobblehead doll.

Members of the Philadelphia police and fire departments, and first responders, will be participating in the fourth annual Health and Safety Day on Aug. 17.

The Eagles are staging training camp at the NovaCare Complex and the Linc after a 17-year stint at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. A limited number of season-ticket holders will be invited to watch the practices at the NovaCare Complex.
