GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Eagles' bid to stay undefeated ended with an ugly, 27-6 loss to Arizona at University of Phoenix Stadium Sunday.

The Cardinals jumped to a 24-0 halftime lead and were never threatened in the second half. The Eagles' only points were provided by place-kicker Alex Henery, who booted two field goals.

The Eagles fell behind 17-0, but had a chance to make the game competitive after driving to the Cards' 1-yard line late in the second quarter. But the momentum shifted when Eagles quarterback Michael Vick fumbled on a hit by Cards safety Kerry Rhodes. Cards safety James returned the fumble 93 yards for a touchdown.

Cards quarterback Kevin Kolb got a measure of revenge against the team that traded him before last season by throwing for 222 yards and two touchdowns.

Vick completed just 17 of 37 passes for 217 yards and committed two turnovers while getting punished by the Cards' defense. He was sacked five times and received over a dozen hits.
