PHILADELPHIA - The Eagles added their ninth player in the last three days on Friday by acquiring WR Arrelious Benn in a trade with Tampa Bay.

The Eagles also got a seventh-round draft pick from the Buccaneers in exchange for a sixth-rounder in next month's draft and a conditional pick in 2014.

Benn joins linebacker Connor Barwin, tight end/fullback James Casey, safety Patrick Chung, cornerback Bradley Fletcher, linebacker James Phillips, safety Kenny Phillips, defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga and cornerback Cary Williams as newcomers to the Eagles since Tuesday.

At 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, Benn provides some much-needed size for the Eagles' wide receiving corps. But like several of the other new players, he also has some injury issues.

Benn played in just eight games last season and spent the second half of the year on injured reserve with his second knee injury in three seasons. He caught 59 passes for 862 yards and five touchdowns after joining the Bucs as their second-round draft pick in 2010.
