The Eagles continued their busy offseason Thursday by trading running back Dion Lewis to Cleveland in exchange for linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

Acho, 6-foot-2 and 238 pounds, was the Browns' sixth-round draft pick last year out of the University of Texas, but spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve with a leg injury.

His last game action came during a preseason game against the Eagles last August.

Acho, who projects as an inside linebacker, will be reunited with new Eagles defensive coordinator Billy Davis. Davis was the Browns' linebackers coach in 2011-12.

Acho's older brother, Sam Acho, is a linebacker with the Arizona Cardinals.

Lewis, 5-8 and 195 pounds, was the Eagles' fifth-round pick in 2011. After a promising rookie season, however, he dropped behind Bryce Brown as LeSean McCoy's backup last year and also lost his spot as the kickoff returner.

He rushed for just 69 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries last season and had just one kickoff return for 33 yards.
