PHILADELPHIA — If the Eagles are going to come back to beat Dallas today, they will have to do it without quarterback Michael Vick.

Vick suffered a concussion during the second quarter and is out for the rest of the game.

Rookie Nick Foles will try to rally the Eagles from a 10-7 halftime deficit.

The Eagles got off to an encouraging start at Lincoln Financial Field. Wide receiver Riley Cooper made a great one-handed catch on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Vick on the Eagles’ first series to give them a 7-0 lead.

The touchdown marked the first time the Eagles have scored on their opening possession all season, and was just their second first-quarter touchdown of the year.

Cowboys running back Felix Jones tied the game on an 11-yard scoring run on Dallas’ first drive. Dan Bailey kicked a 30-yard field goal to give the Cowboys their three-point lead.

Foles, the Eagles’ third-round draft pick out of Arizona this year, was 3-for-5 in the first for half for 18 yards.
