PHILADELPHIA - Not only will Michael Vick be the Eagles' starting quarterback at New Orleans on Monday, he will likely stay there for the rest of the season.

Coach Andy Reid said Thursday that he has no plans to bench Vick in favor of rookie Nick Foles.

"Michael is, was and will be our quarterback," Reid said. "This is not a week-to-week situation."

Vick has committed an NFC-high 13 turnovers via eight interceptions and five lost fumbles, but played an error-free game in last Sunday's 30-17 loss to Atlanta.

"I need to play more aggressive," Vick said Thursday. "I need to get my swag back."

In an attempt to bring the team together, Vick called a players-only meeting on Wednesday. Approximately 10 players spoke, including wide receiver Jason Avant, defensive end Trent Cole, tackle Todd Herremans, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, linebacker DeMeco Ryans and Vick.

"I said a couple of things," Jenkins said. "I just think we need to come together as a team and keep fighting through all of the distractions."

EXTRA POINTS: Defensive tackle Mike Patterson could make his season debut against the Saints. ... Dennis Kelly will likely start again at right guard in place of Danny Watkins (sprained ankle).
