PHILADELPHIA - Despite their six-game losing streak and a series of embarrassing performances, coach Andy Reid said Monday he has no intention of resigning.

'I'm standing in front of the team and telling them, ‘These are the things we need to do, one of which is to continue to battle,'" Reid said. "And so I think that (stepping down as coach) would be a cop-out.

"That’s not how I see things. That's not the way I’m wired. We're going to keep battling and do it as a team. I'm not going to tell the guys one thing and then do the other."

Reid also said that quarterback Michael Vick will be back in the starting lineup as soon as he's healthy enough to play again. Vick sat out Sunday's 31-6 loss at Washington with a concussion.

Running back LeSean McCoy suffered a concussion against the Redskins. Reid took some heat for leaving McCoy in the game with less than two minutes remaining.

Reid explained Wednesday that McCoy was in the game because "these kids want to play."
