PHILADELPHIA - Eagles quarterback Michael Vick said Wednesday that he thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the Atlantic City High School football team and his trip to the Atlantic City Convention Center to meet and talk with victims of Hurricane Sandy on Tuesday.

Players are usually off on Tuesdays, but Vick said wanted to do something to show his support and concern for them.

"I'm glad I was able to do that," Vick said. "It was great to just step away for a while and just to put everything in perspective. It was something that I felt like I needed to do, from the heart. "Even though my body was a little sore, I still wanted to go down there, just pay homage and show them that we are thinking about them."
