ATLANTIC CITY - Somers Point middleweight Patrick Majewski won and Middle Township light-heavyweight Chuck Mussachio lost Saturday at Bally's Atlantic City.
Majewski (21-1, 13 KOs) kept himself in contention for a title shot with a 10-round, unanimous decision over Philadelphia's Jamaal Davis (14-9-1, 6 KOs).
Mussachio (18-3-2, 5 KOs) suffered a TKO defeat at the end of the second round against Lionell Thompson (13-2, 9 KOs), of Buffalo, N.Y. Mussachio's father/trainer, Al Mussachio, stopped the fight at the end of the second after his son had suffered a knockdown.
In other bouts, Millville featherweight Joshua Reyes-Caban (4-0, 1 KO) gained a four-round, unanimous decision over Tommy Garcia (3-4, 2 KOs), of Buffalo, N.Y.
