The main event, which will also be telecast on FX, will feature lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and Clay Guida in a five-round bout. New Jersey natives Dan Miller, Nick Catone and Rich Attonito are also scheduled to fight on the card.
Once a regular visitor to Atlantic City, the UFC will be in town for the first time since it held UFC 53 at Boardwalk Hall on June 4, 2005.
"The fans have been asking for us to come back to Atlantic City for a long time, and on June 22, we’re going to deliver an incredible night of fights," UFC President Dana White said Monday in a statement. "Atlantic City was where we held our first event as owners of the UFC in 2001 and I can’t wait to get back. This fight between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida could be one of the best of the year. Both of these guys fight at an incredible pace and I expect a five-round war."
