Galloway Township welterweight Shamone Alvarez will have to wait two more months to fight again.

Star Boxing president Joe DeGuardia announced Friday that Saturday's boxing card at Tropicana Casino Resort has been postponed due to Hurricane Irene.

The card has been rescheduled for Oct. 22 at the Trop. Fans wishing to get a refund for Saturday can do so by contacting Star Boxing at www.starboxing.com.
