Egg Harbor Township junior-middleweight DeCarlo Perez and Atlantic City junior-welterweight Althea Saunders will be in action Saturday night on promoter Joey Intrieri’s boxing card at Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester, Pa.

Perez (8-2-1, 3 KOs) will be fighting Cleveland prospect Dante Moore (8-0-2, 4 KOs) in a six-round bout. Saunders (3-0-1) will take on Philadelphia ring rookie Laura Incarnato in a four-round fight.

Perez, 21, is coming off a third-round TKO victory over Galloway Township veteran Shamone Alvarez (21-6, 12 KOs) at Resort Hotel Casino last Sept. 29 and is trying for his third straight victory. Saunders, a 38-year-old mother of two, hasn’t fought in a year. Saturday’s bout will be her first since she posted a four-round, unanimous decision over D.J. Morrison in Philadelphia last Jan. 28. An accomplished singer, she has performed the national anthem after fighting on several occasions.

Incarnato is making her pro debut.

The fights are part of a 12-bout card that is celebrating the two-year anniversary of Joey Eye Boxing, a partnership between Intrieri and David Feldman.
