Egg Harbor Township junior-middleweight DeCarlo Perez and Atlantic City junior-welterweight Althea Saunders will be in action Saturday night on promoter Joey Intrieri’s boxing card at Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester, Pa.

Perez (8-2-1, 3 KOs) will be fighting Cleveland prospect Dante Moore (8-0-2, 4 KOs) in a six-round bout. Saunders (3-0-1) will take on Philadelphia ring rookie Laura Incarnato in a four-round fight.

Perez, 21, is coming off a third-round TKO victory over Galloway Township veteran Shamone Alvarez (21-6, 12 KOs) at Resort Hotel Casino last Sept. 29 and is trying for his third straight victory. The 2009 graduate of Atlantic City High School also works in the pharmacy department of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, in Atlantic City.

Moore, 23, is also going after his third win in a row after suffering back-to-back draws.

Saunders, a 38-year-old mother of two, hasn’t fought in a year. Saturday’s bout will be her first since she posted a four-round, unanimous decision over D.J. Morrison in Philadelphia last Jan. 28. Saunders is a former national Golden Gloves and Police Athletic League champion who turned pro in 2010. An accomplished singer, she has performed the national anthem after fighting on several occasions.

Incarnato is making her pro debut.

The fights are part of a 12-bout card that is celebrating the two-year anniversary of Joey Eye Boxing, a partnership between Intrieri and David Feldman.

Ticket prices range from $45 to $100 and are available at Harrah’s Philadelphia Gift Shop, Ticketmaster or via www.webtix.net.

Boxing returns to Atlantic City on Feb. 16 when WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (25-0, 21 KOs) defends his title against Gavin Rees (37-1-1, 18 KOs) at Boardwalk Hall. Broner, Cincinnati native, earned the title with an eighth-round TKO over Antonio DeMarco in the same arena last Nov. 17. The co-feature is a heavyweight rematch between American contenders Johnathon Banks (29-1-1, 19 KOs) and Seth Mitchell (25-1-1, 19 KOs). Banks stopped Mitchell in the second round on the Broner-DeMarco card.

On Feb. 23, Somers Point middleweight Patrick Majew-ski (20-1, 13 KOs), Middle Township light-heavyweight Chuck Mussachio (18-2-2, 5 KOs) and Millville featherweight Joshua Caban-Reyes (3-0, 1 KO) will be competing at Bally’s Atlantic City.

Majewski will face Jamaal Davis (14-8-1, 6 KOs), of Philadelphia, in a 10-round bout. Mussachio is scheduled to fight Buffalo, N.Y. native Lionell Thompson (12-2, 8 KOs) in an eight-rounder. Caban-Reyes will meet Philadelphian Kenneth Brown (0-1) in a four-rounder.
