Remember the Rubik's Cube? The puzzle that ran on brains rather than batteries has frustrated thousands of kids and their parents who twisted and turned but never quite figured it out.

Maybe you still have one, stuffed in the back of the junk drawer, its ummatched color blocks a constant reminder of failure.

Now the Rubik's Cube folks have taken pity on the mathematically challenged with a new web site optimistically called YouCanDoTheCube.

The site includes math lessons for teachers on using the cube to teach algebra, geometry, and other math concepts.

But best of all it includes a 12-page step-by-step solution guide for solving the cube. Parents can print it out and solve the puzzle before unleashing it on the kids.
