Sara Mostafa had arguably her best game of the season for the George Washington women's basketball team Wednesday night.

While the Colonials lost 63-59 in double overtime to Duquesne, there was reason for optimism. Duquesne (17-3 overall, 6-0 Atlantic 10 Conference) is one of the A-10's top teams, and G.W. (8-12 overall, 2-4 A-10) was able to hang with the Dukes.

"The thing that gave me confidence was seeing the good things my teammates and I were doing,” Mostafa, an Absegami High School graduate, told the Washington Post after scoring a season-high 17 points. “I just thought we had opportunities to win this game. I do feel confident moving forward, but this one hurts really bad."
