The American Hockey League will return to Atlantic City this season.

The Albany Devils, AHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, will play four regular-season games at Boardwalk Hall.

Albany played five games in Atlantic City during the 2010-11 season. Last season, the AHL All-Star game was at the Hall.

“Our organization is looking forward to bringing some of our top prospects to historic Boardwalk Hall,” New Jersey Devils President Lou Lamoriello said in a press release. “It is a great opportunity for our fans in New Jersey, and a great experience for some of our young players to play in the Garden State.”

All four games will be on Sundays at 4 p.m. Albany will take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Nov. 25; the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Jan. 13; the Adirondack Phantoms on Jan. 20; and the Hershey Bears on Feb. 24.

“We’re pleased to welcome the Devils back to Atlantic City,” Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority President Jeff Vasser said in the press release. “Boardwalk Hall’s great setting for ice hockey and Atlantic City’s great accommodations and attractions make a terrific combination for hockey fans of all ages. We’re looking forward to hosting the games and the fans.”
