Middle Township High School football player Zack Vogelei confirmed in a phone interview Thursday afternoon that he has verbally committed to play for Towson University next season.
Vogelei, who played linebacker and running back as a senior this past season, said he will play linebacker at Towson.
The Tigers play in the Colonial Athletic Association, arguably the best conference in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision.
"I’m really looking forward to it," Vogelei said. "I know it’s a great, hard (conference) and I’m looking forward to the challenge."
