Ryan Truex has more good news for his hometown fans.

Two days after announcing that he will make his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut this season at Richmond, the Stafford Township native revealed Wednesday that he also will drive in the Cup race in Dover, Del., on June 2.

Both Cup races will be in Phoenix Racing's No. 51 car, which was driven for most of last season by former Cup champion Kurt Busch.

As he did Monday in announcing both the Cup debut and his Trucks Series ride for Friday's Daytona race, Truex broke Wednesday's news via Twitter.

Truex and his older brother, Sprint Cup veteran Martin Truex Jr., frequently have said they consider Dover to be their home track in NASCAR. It's only about a two-hour drive from the Mayetta section of Stafford Township, where Truex grew up. The 20-year-old spent this past offseason living there and as of Monday had not yet moved back to North Carolina, where he lives during the racing season.

Truex, a two-time NASCAR K&N Pro Series East champion who has spent the past two seasons racing partial schedules in the Nationwide and Trucks series, will make his Cup debut April 27 in Richmond.

Truex also hopes to race a full season in the Trucks series and will drive in at least one race - July 27 at Indianapolis - in the Nationwide Series.
