'Jersey Shore' Situation

Is it "Jersey Shore" night already? My, how the time flies...

So here we go, with another new ep of Miami's Jersey-est transplants, the first post-Angelina and her mega meltdown. You'd think all would be lovey-dovey in the house now. Judging from the promos for tonight's installment, that's not the case, with Situation finding himself in the crosshairs of Jenni and/or Vinny because of his boorish ways.

I feel a sense of deja vu coming on, as if I've witnessed this particular cocktail before ... Why, methinks it happened in Atlantic City last season, when Jenni became the first "Shore" mate to try to -- literally -- knock some sense into Situation. More on this after tonight's episode, when I'll offer a few quick takes before filing a full recap Friday morning.

Also on my radar tonight is "Bones" on Fox at 8. If you haven't heard, this is the one where Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) head to Jersey to investigate the death of a guido. It's also the ep Situation was in talks to appear in before it all fell apart. Lucky it did, too, for if not, maybe we wouldn't have Mike "The Dancing Fool" Sorrentino to watch on "Dancing With the Stars" (Just a thought, but is there a network he's not going to be on? Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see NBC revive "Fear Factor" just to have a "Jersey Shore"-related episode...).

I know I owe you a post about the way in which Ronnie and I are alike; sorry, crazy week. But I'll get to it soon. In the meantime, settle in for the goodness that is a new episode of "Jersey Shore," and check back later for my take on it all.
