Even Hollywood can't ignore the "Shore."
Imagine my surprise when watching the Emmys last night when, during a series of clips about the reality genre, up pops our Schnooks, chattering on about tanning. The full quote, from this season's premiere:
"I don't go tanning tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning and I feel he did that intentionally for us. McCain would never put a 10 percent tax on tanning because he's pale and he would probably want to be tan." - Snooki
Wow. Just goes to show you how big "Jersey Shore" has gotten. Love it or hate it, it's It right now. Thankfully, no "Shore"-themed jokes tossed around. Still, was it a little disturbing to be watching the celebration of the very best television has to offer and you get a few seconds of Snooki?
Certainly made me sit up and take notice. ... What do you think?
