Can't say I missed "Jersey Shore." Much like I can't believe Situation has survived the first two weeks of "Dancing With the Stars." Just goes to show how low the Q scores for a couple of '80s icons must be.
But while I may have been gone, the "Jersey Shore" juggernaut rolls on. Last week's episode gets almost 6 million viewers... Situation makes like Gene Kelly ... Snooki gets a book deal...
For the record, that makes two "Shore" mates (Snooks + Situation) with books forthcoming. Jenni's got a clothing line. Pauly's doing the DJ thing. ... I hear anything about Vinny scoring a record deal, and I'm out.
Instead, lets get ready for tonight's episode by taking a quick peek back at last week's funtastic escapades of Sitch and Co.
No. 1: Angelina continues to anger her roomies; is she trying to get voted off the island? Earlier this season, it's Jenni threatening her, or Pauly exploding on her. Last week, she goes after Situation for criticizing her loose (Poor word choice? Nah...) standards considering house cleanliness, and her roll in keeping things tidy. Hey, even Sammi knows enough to know Angie's a friend with deficits. Tonight, the jewelry comes off as Snooki enters the arena. Is it telling that in the promos for tonight's ep, no one steps in to break it up? Uh, yeah...
No. 2: Situation's new squeeze Samantha -- Is she interested in Mike ... or the cameras that follow him?
My vote? Cameras. She is, after all, a model. And while the living might be good, a little face time on "Jersey Shore" could also make things go pop. Or, fizzle. Either way, we'll see more of Samantha tonight when "Jersey Shore" airs an all new episode at 10.
The season is entering the home stretch now. Between new "JS" episodes and "DWTS" on Mondays/Tuesdays, there's plenty of "Jersey Shore" goodness to decipher in the next month. And the blog will be all over it.
