EHT coach Tony DeRosa prepared for the season by scrimmaging Delsea Regional and Williamstown.

Egg Harbor Township High School could have a new football coach next fall.

The school has opened up the position to applicants outside of the district. Tony DeRosa coached the Eagles the past 16 seasons.

“The position is posted,” EHT supervisor of athletic and activities Mike Pellegrino said Monday afternoon. “We are accepting applications over the next couple of weeks. We’ll go through the interview process, and, hopefully, we’ll have a candidate in position by the middle of March.”
