I'm very disappointed.

Most exchange students dream their first dream in their host language by three or four months into the year. I am almost fluent in German, yet I haven't had that experience yet. I used to blame it on the fact that I don't ever remember my dreams, but I woke up this morning and remembered my dream... that was in English. Immer noch!

This week I've been a bit of a gym rat. I just realized that the half marathon is in ten weeks, so I need to pick up the pace. Dad, you'd be so proud!

On Saturday, I helped my school out with their Open House function, which turned out to be really fun regardless of the fact that I had to wake up way too early. Afterward, I went with my host parents to the movies where we watched 'Schlussmacher', a German original film (which are a bit rare nowadays) about a man who is a very successful break-up go-between, always hired by an unsatisfied partner in a relationship. He is about to become partner of the firm, and then is hired by his boss's daughter (by the boss's recommendation) to break up with her (homeless-looking) boyfriend.

It's such a shame they don't dub German films to English (almost always the other way around), because this movie was fantastic. The subtitling on this clip is a bit off, but I hope you get the picture.
