Ryan Lancaster signed a professional basketball contract to play with Gimle Basket in Norway.

The Egg Harbor Township graduate competed in Germany last year and averaged 4.6 points and 1.3 rebounds.

Gimle Basket is a member of BLNO, which is the premier league in

Norway. The team went 9-12 and qualfied for the postseason.

"I'm really excited about this opportunity to play in this league

and be back in Europe," said Lancaster a in press release from Holy Family University where he competed in college. "Europe is the place to be to play basketball outside of the United States."

According to Holy Family, Lancaster played with the Washington Generals during the offseason, which is part of the Harlem Globetrotters "Spinning the Globe" tour.
