Chicago Cub prospect Matt Szczur is becoming pretty popular with the Daytona Cubs' fans.
The single-A team is selling “Hail Szczur” T-shirts, playing off the pronunciation of the Cape May County native's name.

The T-shirt comes at a good time as Szczur has heated up. Through Saturday, Szczur is hitting .265 (39-for-147) with a home run and nine RBIs.
But consider where he started.
Szczur had just five hits through his first 37 at-bats, which means he's hitting .309 since then.
