Manahawkin's Danielle Tauro named Big 10 Runner of the Week By SUSAN LULGJURAJ, Staff Writer The Press of Atlantic City Media Group

Michigan's Danielle Tauro earned Big 10 Runner of the Week after winning her second straight cross country meet.

The Southern Regional graduate earned the honor for the third time in her career.

Last weekend's win at the Illinois Orange and Blue Preview is the 12th individual win of her career. Her time of 20 minutes, 10 seconds set a personal best on the 6,000-meter course.

Tauro is a fifth-year senior and in her final season of eligibility in cross country. Tauro missed the final six meets of her junior year and took a medical redshirt.
