Penn State recruits and commits are looking at the school to see if they want to still attend PSU amid the sex-scandal involving former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

St. Augustine Prep defensive/offensive tackle Austin Johnson verbally committed to Penn State in June. At the time, he called it his dream school and took just one hour from the point of receiving the offer to give his commitment.

On Tuesday, Johnson reaffirmed his position on going to Penn State.

"I still want to go to PSU and one man leaving isn't going to change my mind about playing football at Penn State," Johnson said. "I might have a problem though if the coaching staff leaves, which I hope doesn't happen."

It's a wait-and-see approach with the situation at Penn State. As of Tuesday night, Joe Paterno was still the head coach of the Nittany Lions, but the coming days, weeks or months could be different.
