The annual Atlantic 10 men's basketball media day was held today in Brooklyn with the league's head coaches descending upon the future location of the men's basketball tournament beginning in 2013.

Xavier was tabbed as the preseason favorite, garnering 34 points and 18 first-place votes. The Musketeers finished 24-8 overall and 15-1 in the conference last year. They have clinched at least a share of the A-10 regular season record over the last five years.

However, Xavier has never won the Atlantic 10 postseason tournament in that span.

This will be its last chance to win the tournament in Atlantic City when its held at Boardwalk Hall March 9-11. After the next tournament, the A-10 is moving the postseason site to New York City.

Temple, which won three of the last four A-10 tournament titles, was picked to finish second. Saint Louis came in at third followed by St. Bonavanture.

Here's the preseason poll, which was voted on by head coaches and media members:

1. Xavier

2. Temple

3. Saint Louis

4. St. Bonaventure

5. Richmond

6. Dayton

7. Saint Joseph's

8. George Washington

9. Duquesne

10. Rhode Island

11. Charlotte

12. Massachusetts

13. La Salle

14. Fordham
