Taylor named lawyer of year

Donna M. Taylor, Atlantic County assistant county counsel, has been honored as the 2012 Professional Lawyer of the Year for Atlantic County by the New Jersey State Bar Association.

The award is given for outstanding character, commitment to professionalism and involvement in organized bar and community activities. Taylor is a resident of Linwood and current City Council president there.

Taylor is a graduate of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Villanova University Law School. She is a past president of the Atlantic County Bar Association and a former member of the Vincent S. Haneman American Inns of Court.

She and husband, David, are parents of three sons: David, Sean and Patrick.

O.C. Home Bank promotes Bossi

Ocean City Home Bank has promoted Janet Bossi to executive vice president, overseeing the bank’s Residential Lending, Commercial Lending, Information Technology, Operations and Customer Care Center departments.

Bossi has 28 years of experience in lending and previously was senior vice president at Ocean City Home Bank.

She serves on the board of the Friends of Jean Webster, which operates Sister Jean’s Kitchen in Atlantic City. She resides in Vineland with her husband and children.

Horner director of patient access

Heidi A. Horner has been appointed director of patient access at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House.

Horner has 20 years’ experience in health care and previously served as a manager at South Jersey Healthcare. She lives with her husband, Mark, and daughters, Paige and Madison.

Chamber and Stockton host non-profits forum

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce will hold a free public forum on internships and service learning with Richard Stockton College for nonprofit organizations at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the college’s Manahawkin Instructional Site, 712 E. Bay Ave., Manahawkin.

N.J. Ag Convention in Atlantic City
