Ocean City Home Bank has promoted three to first vice president: Tricia Ciliberto has been named first vice president of marketing; Maria Mayshura, first vice president of audit, and Walt Fillmore, first vice president of compliance.
Ciliberto, formerly the vice president of marketing, joined the bank 17 years ago. She has a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University and lives with her husband in Marmora, Upper Township.
Mayshura has 20 years of bank audit experience and a master’s degree in management from Thomas Edison State College. She lives in Belleplain with her husband and family.
Fillmore, formerly vice president of compliance, has 35 years of banking experience and a master’s degree in business administration from Monmouth University. He lives in Linwood with his wife.
Sorace named pet sitter of year
Vanessa Sorace, owner of Zoo Sitters LLC in Cape May Court House, has been named Pet Sitters International’s 2012 Pet Sitter of the Year.
The award is presented annually to one pet sitter who embodies the passion and professionalism of the pet-sitting industry.
Sorace has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in animal behavior. She has worked as a zookeeper in Pennsylvania and Nebraska.
Chef association honors Haronis
Demetrios Haronis has been named Chef of the Year by the Professional Chef’s Association of South Jersey.
Haronis is director of culinary operations at Tropicana Casino & Resort, where he oversees all of the resort’s dining options.
The Professional Chef’s Association of South Jersey is the local branch of the American Culinary Federation.
Haronis joined Tropicana as a sous-chef in 1994.
Artymowicz on pharmacy panel
Richard Artymowicz, director of pharmacy services at Cape Regional Medical Center, has been elected to the Continuing Pharmacy Education Commission of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
Artymowicz and his wife, Kathy, live in Seaville with their two children.
