Taste of Galloway in Smithville Village

The Galloway Township Business Association will present its first Taste of Galloway event from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Historic Smithville Village.

Participants include Galloway restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and wineries, and there will be a Galloway Farmers Market and exhibits by local nonprofits, clubs and churches.

Mays Landing Hometown Celebration

The Mays Landing Merchants Association will present the annual Hometown Celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 30.

More than 100 crafters, food vendors, merchants and community organizations will line Main Street and War Memorial Park. Free kids’ activities, exhibits and live music. Free parking.

Bellomo named golf pro at Hidden Creek

Mario V. Bellomo has been named head golf professional at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township.

A class “A” member of the PGA, Bellomo previously was head assistant golf professional at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.

Bellomo is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in professional golf management.
