Loefflad joins area law firm
Robert A. Loefflad has joined Ford, Flower, Hasbrouck & King, which has offices in Linwood and Ocean City.
Loefflad previously practiced in Somers Point for 16 years.
He lives in Somers Point and serves on the board of the Atlantic/Cape May Counties Chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the executive board of the Vincent C. Hanemann Inns of Court.
Small business marketing seminar
The New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Richard Stockton College will present the seminar “Developing An Effective Marketing Plan,” with Eileen Boyle of Social Media ResQ, from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 4 at the Carnegie Center, 35 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Atlantic City.

Millville chamber plans luncheon
The Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce will hold a membership luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 10 at the New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Susan Coan, vice president of the Atlantic City Electric region of Pepco Holdings Inc., will speak about emergency preparedness and service restoration.

A.C. chamber plans business forum
The Greater Atlantic City Chamber will present a Business Advocacy Breakfast Forum with Tracye McDaniel of Choose New Jersey Inc. on Oct. 9 at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club.
McDaniel is the president of Choose New Jersey Inc., a nonprofit focused on making New Jersey’s most distressed cities engines for growth and opportunity.
Other presentations will include Compassionate Care Inc., which plans to grow and distribute medical marijuana; Hamilton Mall, which is carrying out a multimillion dollar redevelopment; and Resorts Casino Hotel, which is planning the $35 million Margaritaville Landshark Bar & Grill on the rebuilt Steeplechase Pier.
