Dr. David Zalut, a physician with the Kennedy Health Alliance in Voorhees, has been recognized by the New Jersey Primary Care Research Network for outstanding contributions to the future of practice-based research at the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians conference in Atlantic City.
A resident of Margate, Zalut was recognized for his participation in a study about the impact of electronic medical records on patient care. His medical practice was one of 23 statewide recognized for their research efforts.
The Atlantic County Utilities Authority board of directors has appointed Joseph C. Pantalone, of Hammonton, as the vice president of the wastewater division.
Pantalone served most recently as the engineering department head and human resource director for Adams, Rehmann and Heggan Associates in Hammonton.
He has been executive director of the Hamilton Township Municipal Utilities Authority. He also served on the Hammonton Chamber of Commerce for 15 years, three years as its president.
