Lowe’s, Lane Bryant and Brooks Brothers are scheduled to be among the companies interviewing potential workers at a Family Service Association job fair starting Wednesday morning in Galloway Township.

The FSA, a nonprofit agency whose Atlantic County roots trace back to 1909, will host the job fair at its New Day Family Success Center.

That branch of the agency is on New York Road, or Route 9, south of Galloway’s Smithville section. Along with the companies listed above, the roster will include: Representatives from Med A Quest, a health-care staffing company based in Egg Harbor Township; Devereux New Jersey, which has a facility in Mays Landing; On Time Staffing, based in Cherry Hill; Right At Home In Home Care & Assistance, with headquarters in Linwood and the state’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Plus the FSA said in announcing the event that “many more” potential employers are expected.

Clarifi, the nonprofit credit-counseling agency that has its local office in Galloway, will also have representatives on hand.

The sponsors ask all job-seekers to bring current copies of their resume and identification. The FSA is a multi-service agency, now based in Egg Harbor Township, that helps about 8,500 clients of all ages annually. The goal is to “strengthen individuals and families,” the organization says.

If You Go: The Family Service Association’s job fair runs 10 a.m. to 1p.m. Wednesday at New Day Family Success Center, 622-624 New York Rd., Galloway Township.
