All of For Body's Sake soaps are hand made locally by me. We use specialty oils and specialty butters.

We feature hand made soap, shampoo bars, lotion bars and all natural lip balms. We also have cupcake bath fizzies that scent the water and add moisturizers, body butters and sugar scrubs.

I use olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter and avocado oil in making the soaps. They are $4.50 to $5. Varieties include lavender, oatmeal and lemongrass with blueberry seeds. I try to get creative.

We have cucumber melon, and we have milk in some of our soaps. We have goat milk and honey; a soap made with milk and ground almonds; and a soy soap made with soy milk and soy butter. I try to offer a variety and they're all very moisturizing and pleasing to the skin. It's just a matter of personal preference, the particular scent you like and what you're looking for in a soap.

We also have some glycerin soaps, one with blueberry.

Everything is made in small batches. It's made fresh and brought into the store.

There are gift baskets for special occasions and for holidays, for example a Mother's Day gift basket with a heart-shaped bath fizzy, a glycerin soap and a lotion bar.

Our lotion bars are made with mango butter, shea butter and cocoa butter. They're $8.

We have a shower lotion bar, made mostly of oils - olive oil, rice bran oil, sesame oil and also shea butter. After you wash up, you rub it on your wet skin and then dry off. It takes the place of lotion. Those are $9.

Entry: I have a bachelor's degree in business development and a master's degree in human resources development, and I always liked bath and body products.

I did research and started developing my products, getting feedback from my friends and family.

The future: We listen to our customers and so we'll add seasonal scents around the holidays. We'd like to add more stores and products, and build our online business.
