Sport Clips Haircuts is a modern-day barbershop for men and boys. We try to provide a championship haircut experience for men and boys, particularly with our MVP Experience.

The MVP haircut includes a hot steamed towel, massaging shampoo and a neck and shoulder massage.

We have flat-screen TVs playing sports at all eight stations, and we have sports magazines.

It's good to be a guy, that's our tagline. This is a place for guys to feel comfortable, so they're not sitting next to women getting their hair colored or permed. There are no offensive chemical smells.

Besides our signature MVP, we have the Varsity, just a haircut, and the Triple Play, the haircut, shampoo and the hot steamed towel.

We also do complimentary neck trims between visits, and all new clients get a complimentary upgrade to the MVP.

Our Varsity cut is $17, the Triple Play is $20 and the MVP is $22.

You can also get the All-Star Treatment for $7, which is just the neck and shoulder massage, and the hot steamed towel.

We also do beard trimming.

We have special pricing for ages 10 and under, which is $12, and for 65 and wiser it's also $12.

Customers can also double or triple their MVP Experience, if they have time and want to relax a little bit.

All of our stylists are licensed

cosmetologists. Most of them have more than three years of experience.

We're managed by Lauren Cortina, from Little Egg Harbor Township.

Sports Clips is a franchise operation, and we're the 1,060th store across the nation. We even have a couple of stores in Canada now. The franchiser is based in Georgetown, Texas, just outside of Austin.

Entry: We were looking for franchises so we could diversify, and Vaughan looked for about a year. Sports Clips was listed in Forbes magazine as one of the top franchises in America.

Additionally, it's a recession-resistant industry. Everyone's got to get a haircut, and there's not a whole lot of inventory waste.

The future: We bought a three-pack, so we have two more stores we'd like to open. I'm hoping to have all three up and running in the next 18 months or so.
