I've added a new exclusive agent relationship to my existing insurance business.

I accepted a career appointment with Farmers Insurance on July 1. I am the first and only Farmers agency in Cumberland County.

Farmers was started in Calif. in the early 1900s and recently has progressed eastward. They're a big, national company, and they back their agents with advertising and support.

I still offer all lines of insurance and have very competitive prices for each. I also am a notary public. I have more than 30 years experience in the insurance industry.

I started in the business in the 1980s with Prudential, and worked for various companies since then.

In 2011, I started Frank Conroy Insurance Services, and now I've basically merged that into Farmers Insurance.

I specialize in auto, homeowners, business insurance and life insurance. From now on, since I've joined Farmers, I'll be writing new policies through them.

If Farmers doesn't have a particular line of insurance, they do have an outlet to secure any type of insurance desired.

The big thing in insurance nowadays is the tendency, because of the major storms, of the big companies to restrict their coverage.

Farmers is pretty good. They're taking policies like everybody else.

I was born and raised in Atlantic City and moved to Vineland in the mid-1980s. I still have a lot of family and friends down there and like to follow what's going on there too.

Farmers updated its logo in July and my office is one of the first to have the new, fresher logo.

Entry: I started in the insurance business right out of college. I was working in retail and was recruited by Prudential in 1987.

When I left Prudential, I worked for various property and casualty agencies, doing personal and commercial lines. In 2010, I went out on my own.

The future: I expect to hire a few employees and expand my reach with Farmers. Maybe in the future I'll open a second office, if possible.
