Renu Massage & Skin Care Spa does facials, massage and waxing, and we also carry an all-organic skin care line, Eminence Skin Care.

We do many kinds of massages, including Swedish, integrated, deep tissue, Raki, aromatherapy, hot stone and more. Raki is a form of energy healing, with the hands placed just off the body or lightly touching the body. It’s good for achieving perfect health of mind, body and spirit. Hot-stone massage is a relaxing treatment that’s designed to ease and relieve tension. We take rocks and the warmth of the therapeutic stones restores your body back to balance.

Swedish is the traditional massage, using long gliding strokes. It encourages relaxation, leaving you in a stress-free state. A basic Swedish massage for 50 minutes is $75. Raki can be by itself or incorporated with a massage, and that’s $60.

We offer a selection of aromatherapies. Lavender is for relaxation, eucalyptus is good for sinuses and opening up the joints, and peppermint is invigorating, stimulating, and for clarity.

We have different kinds of facials, including a peel. We also offer the Eminence Signature Facial. After a deep and gentle exfoliation, an assortment of line-soothing and restorative treatments are layered to penetrate and leave the skin glowing for days. There is also a basic Eminence Spa Facial, which costs $107. We do waxing of eyebrows, bikini areas and a full body wax. We do men as well as women.

For someone’s first visit to Renu, they receive 20 percent off all of their services.

We have a little room upstairs where clients can have a cup of tea after their treatment.

Entry: I’ve been doing massage for 25 years, including six years in this shopping center with a partner. I trained with Larry Snyder, who had a massage studio in Somers Point and sadly passed away since then. I think it was fate and time to open my own business again and do what I really love to do, healing people with massage.

The future: I would love to expand and bring in more services, some retail, and hold some yoga and Pilate classes.
